The 2007 Element Cabernet Sauvignon really exemplifies why Western Australia is one of the most renowned areas in the world for growing this variety. The colour is dark cherry with a hint of magenta. On the nose there is lifted berry fruits, cassis and a dash of eucalypt. The palate is medium-bodied bursting with brooding dark berry fruit flavours, velvet tannins and subtle citrus French oak notes. This wine whilst drinking beautifully now, will cellar for the next five years. £8.99

Deep violet colour. Very rich and ripe red berry fruits on the nose. Rich palate too with very ripe tannins and a juicy sweetness. A full-bodied wine with some power and lots of fruit. £6.70

WHITE's
1 x Element Classic White 2008 (Chenin Blanc, Verdelho and Semillon)
The 2008 Classic White is made from three varieties eminently suited to the warmer climes, which prevail in the SW of Western Australia. However, given this warmer climate all these varieties have been picked a little, "greener" than they normally would. This strategy gives a grassier and more herbaceous edge to the wine with a somewhat fresher and crisper mouth feel, than would exist had the fruit been left to ripen to full maturity. The nose is brimming with cut grass, fresh honeydew melon and a hint of tropical guava. This all translates to the palate with the added zest provided by the natural acid backbone of the fruit. Certainly this is a drink-now wine. The wine should be served well chilled. Classic White is a great drink just on its own or accompanied with the freshest of foods, particularly seafood. £8.99

Must be served chilled and a perfect drink in its own right or with al fresco dining anytime, day or night. £11.99
